Season 1 - Episode 02

Richie Ryan, Duncan MacLeodrs protege, attempts to learn more about his parents, whom he has never known. Instead, he falls prey to a con man who, needing a place to stay and a quick score, pretends to be Richie's long-lost father. While MacLeod and Tessa try to keep Richie from being hurt, MacLeod relives his own traumatic past, where he first realized he was an Immortal, and was renounced by the man who had raised him as his son.
